READING, WRITING AND BALL SKILLS
The Reading, Writing and Ball Skills program is aimed at honing the reading, writing and ball skills of young learners. English not being their mother tongue, the program is intended for them to have a better command of the English language especially as far as their reading and writing skills are concerned.
The program is especially aimed at young learners. In this way, young learners exposed to the English language are better able to grasp the concepts required to express themselves using the written word.
The Reading, Writing and Ball Skills sessions take place once a week. Here a group of high school learners assist the younger ones with their given tasks. Each session lasting for 1½ hours starts with the learners practising a ball skill after which the reading and writing commences.
